Backyard Quilt Shop was established in 2004 and is located in a country subdivision approximately one mile from the city of Fort Atkinson.

Kathy, the owner, has been sewing since she was 7 years old and has been quilting for several years. She especially enjoys teaching beginner to the young and old alike and to her granddaughter whom she started to teach at age 7.

Backyard Quilt Shop is a full service shop with over 4000 bolts of fabric, kits, books, notions, gifts, and we also offer computerized long arm quilting.
